Under the guidance, support and mentoring of the CLC team and with the help of its network, Aggeliki Maniatakou, Bsc, Biology, Msc, Didactics of Biology, Mary Niniou, Bsc, Biology & Diploma in Biomedical Science, with the support of Dr. Pigi Lymberi, Research Director at Hellenic Pasteur, CLC’s students Ioanna Andritsogianni, Janis Alabasinis and Theodora Ioannidou, carried out a research on Covid-19 Immunology.The result of the project is a review-research paper that provides an overview of the pathophysiology of SARS-CoV-2 infection as well as, the interaction of SARS-CoV-2 with the immune system and the subsequent contribution of dysfunctional immune responses to disease progression.
