CLC’s team, led by Ms. Marialena Kalyva, BSc Biology, BSc Business Administration, MSc Finance Bocconi ’24, mentored and supervised our students Christoforos Foteinelis, Theofilos Kiakidis and Melina Xanthopoulou to carry out a research project on the role and applications of the corona structure in proteins.
The team researched what the corona structure is and what is the role of the specific protein. They analyzed the kinetics of the protein as well as its application in nanomedicine. More specifically, they analyzed how the protein is used in immunotherapy and how its specific characteristics make it a unique tool for the future of this area of science.
