Under the guidance, support and mentoring of the CLC team and with the help of its network, Ms. Marialena Kalyva, BSc in Biology and BSc in Business Administration with Finance, CLC’s Students Theofilos Kiakidis, Melina Xanthopoulou, Christoforos Foteinelis and Isidora Giannopoulou decided to work on a project to research the role and applications of the corona structure in proteins.

The team researched what the corona structure is and what is the role of the specific protein. The analysed the kinetics of the protein as well as its application in nanomedicine. More specifically, they analysed how the protein is used in immunotherapy and how its specific characteristics make it a unique tool for the future of this area of science.
